1st Inning Highlights:
- India had won the toss and opted to field first. England started very well with the bat in the power play and at a time, it was looking like England will definitely cross 180 runs.
- But, the Indian wrist spinner, Kuldeep Yadav was yet to come and the stop on English run machine was about to come.
- The same happened as has happened in past matches and IPL too. Kuldeep strikes in his first over and took 3 wickets in the single over and English team’s average got broken just then after.
- Team England was still able to put 159 runs on the board as Willey took his charge well in the last few overs and England gave a target of 160 runs to India.
2nd Inning Highlights
- India started the batting and India dominated from the beginning itself. K L Rahul was the man of the moment as he scored a marvelous century with his stylish shots.
- Indian cricket fans have praised him all around the social media with his awesome skill with bat and fancy shots.
- Some of the shots were so powerful that the ball had to no way except to fly over the boundaries and English players just kept looking over the balls going over the head.
India was able to win the match easily with 1-2 overs remaining. K L Rahul was declared as Man of the match.
